Question Papers: DC track circuit calcs questions
Hello again all, are there any other questions from past papers apart from the one's already displayed on the site with regards to DC track circuit calculations?
If so is there any chance of them being posted up on here for me to have a go at. Many thanks Arch |

I attach the relevant questions extracted from other recent years, some of which have had answers previously posted on this site. Although similar questions have come up year after year, do remember that it is not guaranteed that there will be one such every year- the regular aspect sequence and complicated headway calculations have been absent from module 3 for a couple of years now ........ Still well worth the effort to get some more practice and seeing the variety / similarity in these from year to year- these should be enough to keep you busy for a while! PJW |

Typo in the 2002 question; in Part B the value of the ballast resistance should be 20 ohm km Just to keep you on your toes, to give you a bit of experience just in case the IRSE examiners make another mistake this year!
