Many talk of RAMS but don't know the distinction between the terms- make sure you do.

Also see this module 5 thread for information regarding Fault Trees which is at least as applicable to module 7 and closely related to this topic

Further to Peter's post. The London Study Group have Mr Brian Halliday as the guest speaker on 08/09/2008 coming to discuss RAMS. Brian is The Systems Integration & Reliability Engineer at Network Rail and certainly knows his stuff. If anyone who is not already a student of the group wishes to attend, then please contact me at
