| Bio: |
Signal engineer of some 28 years experience, now working for Westinghouse as Senior Project Engineer for Reading project. Hold Principles Design licence but historically best known as signalling Principles tester. Experience includes working with ISA / NoBo re introduction of novel technology to the UK and development of Cambrian ERTMS project.
In my spare time wrote the IRSE module 2 Study Pack initially for 2008 but now extended for 2009. Hence feel well qualified to help on the mainstream signalling modules 2,3 &5 in UK Mainline context in particular; relatively comfortable on most of the range of modules 1 & 7 at IRSE exam level, though like most people there'd certainly be some questions I'd steer clear from. Metro / Telecomms- sorry not my subjects; I think that I might be able to have a stab at some questions but lack the confidence that I'd be giving good advice, so therefore I won't. |
